{"id":1119,"date":"2016-01-14T21:47:54","date_gmt":"2016-01-14T21:47:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/old.add-associes.com\/en\/?page_id=1119"},"modified":"2016-01-27T09:44:09","modified_gmt":"2016-01-27T09:44:09","slug":"charters-and-guarantees","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/old.add-associes.com\/en\/nos-engagements\/charters-and-guarantees\/","title":{"rendered":"Charters and guarantees"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>CHARTER AND GUARANTEES<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"custom_font\"><strong>A REGULATED PROFESSION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Probate genealogy is governed by Article 36\u00a0of the French law of\u00a023 June 2006 reforming inheritance and gifts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In addition, ADD\u00a0\u25a0\u00a0Associ\u00e9s is a member of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cngenealogistes.fr\/\"> French National Chamber of Genealogists <\/a>,\u00a0itself\u00a0grouped together with six other trade unions within <a href=\"http:\/\/genealogistes-france.org\/\">G\u00e9n\u00e9alogistes de France<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Therefore, the Office, its Associates and its employees:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Comply with the\u00a0Code of Professional Ethics of\u00a07 June 2013\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/intereldev.com\/usgp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/charte_deontologique_usgp.pdf\">(Access the Code of Professional Ethics)<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Comply with the partnership convention with the High Council of French Notariat of\u00a019 May 2015 which defines the terms of cooperation between the two professions and their respective obligations\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/genealogistes-france.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/CONVENTION-PARTENARIAT-CSN-GENEALOGISTES-2015.pdf\">(Access the\u00a0partnership convention)<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Are holders of a professional licence and of specific authorisations issued jointly by the Interministerial Service of the Archives of\u00a0France and the French Public Prosecutors to consult and obtain copies of the civil status of people under 75.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Have a Data Protection Officer who guarantees compliance of electronic data processing with requirements of the French data protection act of 6 January 1978.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Are covered by third-party liability insurance and a financial guarantee taken out with Covea Risks and\u00a0Covea Caution under policy numbers 120 133\u00a0160 and 120 133\u00a0160.<\/li>\n<li>Lastly, the Office and its subsidiaries earned ISO 9001 certification on 17 December 2008.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"custom_font\"><strong>ETHICS AT THE HEART OF ADD \u25a0 ASSOCI\u00c9S&#8217; PROFESSION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Since the Office was founded, ADD\u00a0\u25a0\u00a0Associ\u00e9s has greatly contributed to\u00a0the regulation and governance of the profession.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Antoine Djikpa, Associate, has thus been elected President of G\u00e9n\u00e9alogistes de\u00a0France. ADD\u00a0\u25a0\u00a0Associ\u00e9s largely contributes to making probate genealogy a profession that offers all clients a full range of guarantees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"custom_font\"><strong>ADD \u25a0 ASSOCI\u00c9S A PARTNER TO THE NOTARIAT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cngenealogistes.fr\/\">French National Chamber of Genealogists <\/a>\u00a0of which ADD \u25a0 Associ\u00e9s is a member is a signatory of the Partnership Convention of 19\/05\/2015 which sets the framework for Notary\/Genealogist relations and their reciprocal obligations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"custom_font\"><strong>ADD \u25a0 ASSOCI\u00c9S&#8217; ADDITIONAL GUARANTEES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">When a genealogist certifies a devolution of estate, he incurs personal liability. The members of the French National Chamber of Genealogists take out professional insurance policies to cover their third-party liability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">ADD \u25a0\u00a0Associ\u00e9s also has additional insurance to cover its liability to third parties in order to increase the amounts of benefits (Covea Risk: policy no. 120 133 160).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This is also the case for the financial guarantee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">These additional guarantees provide the Office&#8217;s clients with important protection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CHARTER AND GUARANTEES &nbsp;
